Fishing at Teasses is a most tranquil experience. We offer trout fly fishing from February to October on our Estate ‘lochan’. Enquire with us about our Teasses fishing syndicate – available for enthusiastic local fly fishermen. Limited day rods can be made available, in particular in combination with our other sporting activities. Equipment hire, including all the necessary safety equipment, is available alongside ‘ghillie’ services, upon enquiry. Trout fishing can also be enjoyed as part of our Country Estate Day experience. Whether you are a regular or occasional visitor to our Estate, the team will give you their warmest Teasses welcome!

Country Estate Day

A full day out not he Estate which combines both the Gardens and the Sporting activities offered on site. You will be enjoying a garden tour and will try your hand at fly-fishing and clay pigeon shooting; a traditional and organically sourced lunch on the Estate is included in your experience to ensure you make the most of your time with us.

Sample Country Estate Day

Experience an authentic and truly enjoyable country day with our gardening and gamekeeping team on the grounds of Teasses Estate. Spend a relaxing morning with Craig, our Head Gardener, who will share with you horticultural insights and the plans for the Teasses garden’s development. Craig leads his insightful tour through the extensive sixty acres of gardens, allowing for photographs and questions, the tour takes approximately two hours.

Take a well-deserved break by enjoying a traditional two course lunch sourced from organic produce raised on the bountiful estate. A barbecue lunch is served in the Walled Garden.

After lunch enjoy an afternoon of sporting activities on the estate with Kenny, our Head Keeper and his team. Practice and perfect your aim on our clay shooting range with the benefit of expert tuition from Kenny who is a BASC qualified coach. Take advantage of Kenny’s forty years of experience working in the countryside and his knowledge of Scotland’s native fauna.  Included in the afternoon, you have the opportunity to try your hand at fly fishing and the chance to hook brown and rainbow trout on our natural spring fed loch.

All sporting equipment is provided. Guests are advised to bring sturdy walking footwear and rainproof clothing. A moderate level of fitness is required.
