COVID-19: We look forward to welcoming you to the Estate and despite these challenging times we know the importance of getting outside for fresh air and to enjoy outdoor activities; which is why we have decided to open the Gardens, Fishing and Clay Shoots for guests but we want to share with you the actions we are taking to ensure your safety while visiting us at Teasses.

For those visiting the Lochan and wishing to participate in Outdoor Country sporting our Head Keeper has put in place some key measure. The Fishing hut and toilets are closed, please do not use gates or styles and limit your movements on the estate. Hand Santiser should be used before you leave your cars and before you depart the estate. We cannot provide equipment hire without supervision from our gamekeeping team. If you require more information about Covid-19 safety in our Sporting department please contact [email protected].

For those who are visiting the garden, the gardening team have made it easy for you to navigate around the garden without putting yourself at risk. Hand sanitiser is found at the garden entrance (Walled Garden) and throughout the garden. The WC facilities are closed and due to reduced staffing levels we cannot offer guided tours with our gardening team. During your visit you will see gardeners working in and around the gardens please maintain social distancing measures, use hand sanitiser and avoid close contact with others out-with your ‘group’. Pre-booked ticketing reduces the need for our team to handle cash so please if possible book your ticket before you arrive. Parking is limited. Garden Opening

Visiting the gardens of Teasses couldn’t be easier, simply contact [email protected] to arrange your trip. To fully enjoy your time visiting Teasses please consider our two bespoke Head Gardener led tours of the gardens.

From April to August visit the gardens and enjoy a private tour with our Head Gardener, take light refreshments in the Walled Garden and enjoy the rest of your day freely meandering around the gardens at your leisure. £25 per person, children (16 years or below) free. 

In the May and June enjoy visiting the garden after hours with one of our Evening Tours with the Head Gardener, not only can you enjoy visiting the gardens but also the opportunity to spot some of our more wild inhabitants. £15 per person, children (16 years or below) free.

General admission to the garden allowing you to take the garden in at your own pace. £5 per person. 

Country Estate Day Excursions

Experience an authentic and truly enjoyable country day with our gardening and gamekeeping team on the grounds of Teasses Estate, in the heart of the Kingdom of Fife. The historic estate traces its roots back to the 13th century and far into the ancient history of Scotland.  Spend a relaxing morning with Craig Cameron the Head Gardener who will share with you horticultural insights and his plans for the garden’s development. Craig leads his insightful tour through the extensive sixty acres of gardens, allowing for photographs and questions, the tour takes approximately two hours.

Embrace the authenticity of the day by enjoying a traditional two course lunch sourced from organic produce raised on the bountiful estate. A barbecue lunch is served in the Walled Garden.

After lunch enjoy an afternoon of sporting activities on the estate with Kenny Horne, the Head Keeper and his team. Practice and perfect your aim on our clay shooting range with the benefit of expert tuition from Kenny who is a BASC qualified coach. Take advantage of Kenny’s forty years of experience working in the countryside and his knowledge of Scotland’s native fauna.  Included in the afternoon, you have the opportunity to try your hand at fly fishing and the chance to hook brown and rainbow trout on our natural spring fed loch.

£225 per person (£110 children under 16 years of age) All sporting equipment is provided. Guests are advised to bring sturdy walking footwear and rainproof clothing. Teasses offers the keen sportsperson an opportunity to shoot clays from March to the end of August. Clay shooting at Teasses provides the ideal time over the warmer months to get some practice in for the opening of the season in the Autumn.

On Teasses we can also offer fly fishing for trout on our lochan from February to October.

Teasses hosts a fishing syndicate of around thirty members, who enjoy the peace and quiet of the surroundings and of course the fly fishing. We are occasionally able to offer places in our syndicate and day rods.
